CATL (Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited) is the world's largest manufacturer of lithium-ion batteries for electric vehicles and energy storage. Founded in Ningde in 2011, CATL supplies cells to most major automakers and is a leader in LFP (lithium iron phosphate) prismatic cell technology, including its cell-to-pack and Shenxing fast-charging platforms.
